Beware of Crypto projects being promoted by celebrities
1
Hindi naman lahat ng celebrities ay scammers but its important to be cautious of who to trust dahil possible rin na hindi fully aware ang celebrity sa ine-endorse nila.

They can easily say, “Use our new Cryptocurrency! Promise, uunlad ka dito in 2 weeks” pero walang legit source ang kanilang statements.

“Use our new
Cryptocurrency! Promise, uunlad ka dito in 2 weeks.”

- Celebrity Endorser, Influencer

Impersonators
2
“Hello, this is the 'creator' of Bitcoin. I have an upcoming Crypto project, would you like to invest?”

- Crypto Impersonator

Wow! The creator of Bitcoin contacted you kahit bago ka palang sa world of Crypto? Seems SUS, right? Kaya i-double check muna kung legit or credible account nga ba ang kausap mo.

Exceptional returns
3
Halos lahat naman pumasok ng Crypto to gain higher returns. However, beware sa mga “Too good to be true” promises ng iba sa kanilang new coin or token.
Earning a lot by frequent use of the app
4
Hindi naman nataas ang value ng coins or tokens mo with the number of hours na you're using the app. Minsan rin ay may mga virus ang apps na 'to that can steal from your Crypto wallet or your personal information.
“Pinaasa mo lang ba ako?”
- Potential Crypto Investor
The Pump and Dump Scheme
5
Ito ang type ng scam na mapapa-tanong ka ng “Pinaasa mo lang ba ako?”

In this scam, ang mga project founders ay gumagawa ng fake demand for coins and tokens kahit enough naman ang investors. This way, more money ang papasok sa kanila and i-gghost ka as they run away with your money , shutting down the project.

A stranger asking for help
6
Sending their private details, they'll ask you to transfer funds in an account that keeps glitching. In return of doing so, they promised you a few dollars.

Wala namang masama sa pagiging matulungin pero importante din na kilalanin natin ang tutulungan natin at ang kanilang intentions.

Links to Malware
7
“Click this link para i-claim ang Bitcoin rewards mo!”

Just like how we encounter malicious phishing emails, maaari rin tayo maka-receive nito sa Crypto accounts natin. Kaya naman be careful sa na-rereceive or nag-aappear na links sa 'yong accounts.

Blackmail and extortion
8
Ang mga scam na 'to tend to cause you fear stating na need i-reactivate ang account mo and kailangan mo sila bayaran if gusto mo makuha ulit ang account mo.
Fake job offer, fake relationship, fake everything!
9
Some potential employer ay aalukin ka ng promising job offer but leads you to a suspicious link that may contain malware.

While yung iba naman will target you with emotional connection like people in dating apps then ask you to invest sa kanilang Crypto project.

Ponzi scheme
10
This scheme ay parang networking where you try to refer as many friends as you can na mag-invest sa app, allowing the scammers na magkaroon ng more investors at more money to runaway with.
